I thought Huntley selected a spot for a rail station back in 2012(ish) when they first planned the service extension

I am adamantly opposed to Metra coming to Huntley. Like, you, I am all for growth and development, but this is a very bad idea. We don't need this. We are opening the door to a lot of problems.... Crime, vagrancy, people getting off the train that don't live here and not respectful of our community, property, business and people. We have a great town, great amenities and great people. I fear that our town will be victimized, and people are going to be taken advantage of. I also don't think its fair, right, responsible to add this to our police and fire departments. I hope this doesn't happen!

Do you have any information supporting this claim that the train will bring crime and vagrancy? There's no data that supports any upticks of crime with the Metra line coming in. It's understandable change can be scary. But there's infinite amounts of data that can show you what is likely to happen as opposed to what you fear will happen.
