Steve Arpin is a legend in the area of dirt track I came from when he was racing dirt track in the wissota mods there was no stopping him longhorn picked up amazing guy.... only time I saw lose a race cause I promise you he accidentally got rolled racing hard..... his talent as a driver was undeniable... My Dad, Brother and myself hauled to speed weeks in Volusia in 2005. We were way out of our league but we were fortunate to pit next to Steve his Dad and all his Canadian buddies. He I think he won all but 1 race that week. I remember he holes a piston and the next morning his engine guy was rebuilding his engine in the trailer, and won that night. I don't know if he remembers but it was a piece of sh#$ modified rebel flag 01. He had the baddest car of it's time 2 shaws. I grew up around racing my whole life and I had never seen anyone wheel like that, he came in after one main said I never lifted and was only driving with his left hand and the right arm was pressed against the cockpit. Anyways with him on board with his knowledge that's a huge move.

So what’s the difference between the different chassis manufacturers? Is it just there a suspension differences pickup points , shock brands or just driver feel

Every chassis builder does something better then the others. Another thing to remember is where the chassis builders are located and the tracks in their general area that they shakedown their chassis designs at as those will be the style of tracks that they will have an edge at. Sometimes someone finds a tweak to their suspension that makes their chassis dominate.
