here is another how to video
for the removal of y our side mirror covers and the led indicators/turn signals
in this video i show how to carefully remove the side mirror cover without using brute force and by using trim removal tool and a t10 torx screwdriver/power tool
i have seen many times before other people using brute strength the pull off the side mirror cover and it always worried me as it seemed as you could probably break something in the process, so instead i show how to properly remove it by using a trim removal tool and some patience....
also i have seen a few videos out there on how to remove the side mirror covers but never how to detach the led indicators from the side mirror cover housing
so i decided to also show how to do that

There is 2 cable attach with the mirror. Both 2 are the same? Can I just simply attach it ?

Hello again my friend! Thank you for the tutorial! I just ordered the exactly same mirrors for my 2008 car. I had dimming and auto folding mirrors so I bought the e mirrors with same function only for facelift! The connectors look the same so I hope is gonna be plug and play! I noticed the face lifted model has more wires in the white connector but the park selling them told me they did that before and they are working !❤ wish me luck !

Thats a really good way to remove the side mirror ..ive ssen so many ppl pull it off and even the cover ... heaps of ppl jist pull it out and up but im worried something will break orbat least scratch..but your way seems safe and easy..thanks for the clear instructions

Hi! Is it the same procedure if you've got the blind spot indicators on your mirrors? Any extra wiring to worry about when removing the mirror exept from the heating wires? :)

The same ... if u have blind spot then you will have the connector for the blind spot so an extra connector just remove slowly u will see connector eaay to remove aswell ...

My actual glass seems to sit a bit low on the bottom left corner and it’s scrubbing the lower edge of the housing! Are there set screws or anything on the mechanism to center the mirror edges?

no there isnt are u sure its clippes in right ..it shouldnt be rubbing against anything regardless of how far u adjust it ...it should never touch the side mirror frame

Do you know what size the T10 Torx screws are? My mirror housing got knocked off off the mirror mount and was destroyed. The replacement kit I got doesn't come with screws.

Fyi some mirror covers have a screw holding it on from the inside, you pull the mirror glass out first then undo the screw then pop the cover up. On mine the driver side had no screw but passenger did

Hey Mike. I installed a new mirror indicator (normal indicator, not dynamic) on my passenger side and it works just how it should. However, when i start the car i get an error message on the display telling me to check the right side mirror indicator. Also the first 1-3 times that i use my right indicator, the indicator light on the dash (green arrow) will flash more frequently. After that the flashing is back to normal until i restart the car. The error message is always present in the "messages" dialog. Any idea what it might be? The spare indicator was bought from a reputable store and cost 60 euros. Maybe i should have should rolled with ebay, cause i dont seem to hear other people struggling with this.

Hey bud...welcome to the channel... make sure when you plug the light in that it is plugged in correctly sometimes the pins get loose or even bent causing an inconsistent connection... also check that there are no breaks or loose wires and lastly it can even bs due to your rear tail light wire harness... cauaing the dast flaahing..wen ur car has a faat dlaahing indicator its usually a sign that another bulb in on the same side is loose or blown.... lastly get a scan done with a good obd2 scanner to try narrow the issue

Hi buddy so if you are experiencing error msg u may need a resistor or a relay so that it can fees constant 12v when the led turn signals flash ... mine doesnt have any errors ...so for some reason i dont need to do that but in your case get a resistor or a relay so u can feed 12v when needed
