in this video i replace the side mirror indicator on the earlier models of the w204 ,
i believe the 2007 and 2008 have these older styles indicators
and so i show how to replace them..
but i also show the safest way to remove it
some ppl will show u removal via brute force, but i dont agree with that technique
after all u can damage or break the clips in doing it that way
also i just wanted to point out that it is possible to upgrade the side mirrors to the newer style led strip indicators
but you would need to replace the entire side mirror with motor cables and mirror

@@MIKEYZVLOGZ is there a way to make the driver's side mirror tilt in reverse like the passenger side mirror Mikey? I thought I fucked up a connection and snapped the fitting where the led blinker snaps into the connection no big deal everything still fits and work's

Really appreciate the video (and the time to make it). I managed to do both my mirror indicators as they were both really faded and the drivers side was intermittently stopping. (no not flashing :-D ). The glasses were a bit tricky to get to the clips, as there is not much room for your fingers to hold it back when unclipping. My torqus screws were all rusty too (part of living in the UK). But again Thank You Mikey.

that would be something like an electrical fault or mechanism motor that puts it up and down

hi mate ... as stated in the video..I worked on someone else car and they bought the part ... I would always start with ebay and aliexpress as they have cheap aftermarket part .. or u can always get oem but it will be more costly ... its as simple as searching your make model and year car and adding the words side mirror indicator - or bulbs. replacement light ...etc ... play with the words and u will find it eventually... depending what u prefer.. and the actual price of new vs genuine and used or new .. weigh out what ur willing to settle for and choose accordingly... that's what I would do

ebay or if u don't plan to do urself goto a mechanic should. be cheap don't pay more then 30 dollars ..some do it free ... or u can invest in one for about 100 on ebay ensure it reads mercedes canbus and can reset pol and airbag and ur good 👍

Quick question - I installed it yesterday but both side new lights did not lit up. The car was not switched on I just press the button of double indicators and it did not work. I installed the old one and press the double indicators button without switching the on the car and the old one was working fine. I am not sure whether the new lights are defective or I need to switch on the car when I install the new one??? Any idea

How can I test before install? I jist plugged in the car and they did not work so i Tool them out and installed the old one which were working even without car started.. So I assumed that both are faulty or could be some pin issues.

You can open the case with a sharp knife. If any of the 4 LED goes. Than all of them stops to work. You have to replace them as pair, Any smd orange LED will do. You can seal it back with transparent hot glue. The mirror part pops out,. There is a clip In the middle. Use pray tool in the middle to push the pmirror part out. It will just pop back later. Make sure you do not touch the mirror surface!!!!!! Very sensitive for fingr prints. Can not clean it again. The LED has 3 negative and 1 positive soldering pads. You can solder the new LED across.
