I'm with you on this one. I driven one too mostly on mountain twisted road. I my daily car I can take some of those curve at 30 kph and at 40 and a hard time keeping it on the road. With the Performate i took those curve at 70 kph and I could see Performater could take more.

I don't know if you know this news... but the show has completely changed format. All they are doing now is 90 minute beautifully produced car films once a year. The old "Top Gear" format has been dropped in favor of the films. They released 2 of them in the last year and because of Covid it will take longer to get the next one.

Huracan performante: release date 2017, awd more hp and torque Ferrari 458 speciale: release date 2013, rwd, less hp and torque. And the difference was marginal. 2,8 seconds 0-100 for performante. 3 for the Ferrari. Better comparison would’ve been the modern competitor, 488 pista (release date 2015). 2 years older and it does exactly the same as the bull. 2,8 seconds 0-100. And this is with the same drawbacks as the 458 only now with added turbos.

To be fair, the Performante is also a v10 with more power then the v8 in the Ferrari. Anyway you slice it, the Lambo has an engine advantage. The better comparison is a 488GTB vs the Performante. The 488 has more power but less grip then the Performante so it would even it out.

@@spinister4357 it's definitely a much more impressive engine design. The HP per litre is incredible! The Speciale has nearly 600hp from a TINY 4.5L v8. I love the engine, but in reality, it doesn't really matter. The lamborghini weighs nearly the same as the Speciale and it has 4WD and more Hp plus more torque.
