Huracan is a custom Gerstlauer Eurofighter at Belantis. This ride has an impressive layout, but it's infamous for being one of the roughest modern coasters ever built. Rumors suggest this Mayan themed coaster was originally meant for the cancelled F1-X Dubai amusement park and now it's the signature coaster at this German park.

Apparently this ride has a reputation of being rough, I don’t know all that much about this ride nor can I say if that is true but that’s one of the best gerstlauer layouts

Seems to more be the case that US parks don't buy them (for some reason). The only reason Europe has so many good Gerstlauers is that so many of them get built there in general. It's strange because Eurofighters like this are absolutely perfect for small parks with how relatively cheap they are and they're (usually) not as rough as people make them out to be if you ask me.

@@CanobieCoaster in front it's ok, but the back left, your head will hurt so bad, ridden it 20 times tho, you can avoid it by pressing your head against the restraint and Gold ist with your hand the other side even closer

am i tripping or did i not hear any anti rollbacks going up that lift? what is the system to prevent rollbacks on euro fighters?

There is a double chain dog system and a chain lift, so there are anti-rollbacks.

They are there on the right side of the chain. Gerst's don't have distinctive sound like B&M, Arrow, or Schwarzkopf. My God Togo's you had to wear ear protection!

Eurofighters don't have antirollbacks. They have magnets that extend behind the train, so if the chain fails, it will slowly roll back down to the ground.

@@andyroman8223 eurofighters do have anti rollbacks.. they don’t have magnets that slow you down to come back? 😂😂😂😂 I have ridden 3 eurofighters- I have taken upclose shots of their lifts with my cameras. They have the chain dogs on both sides of the chain. They have the claws they slot into. Plus you can hear it in the video faintly.

I love gerstlauer but their rides do not age well, Saw at Thorpe park is definitely showing it’s age much like this coaster.
