It's a beautiful blanket! I love how well you show and explain everything. That makes me not just follow the directions, but understand why certain stitches are done and it also helps me learn the names of the stitches. Great for a beginner like myself!

Just finishing my first blanket off (I'll be making 4 sets as so many people I know are having babies soon) and it really a is beautiful pattern that is well explained and easy to follow. In case this helps someone, I used a large rectangular loom and used 56 pegs. I also made it longer, 30" when I started the top border. Mine came out about 25" x 30.5 " and it took about 3 1/2 of the 100ml skeins of Charisma.

I hope you’re still checking these. I used your pattern that you showed for the matching pink hat and blanket with the rose and LOVED IT. But I would’ve liked it the blanket to be a little bigger so I bought a rectangular 60 peg loom and I’m not sure how to get this blanket started. Do you have a video showing how I can use your pattern on the rectangular loom?

I don't at this time. It should work the same as long as you go around the loom. I might think about doing one in the future though.

My question is in the 4 row repeat. On the 3rd row you mentioned the pattern and said somethin about 16 times. So we do row three pattern 16 times before moving to row 4? And after row 4 we do the whole pattern 20 times? And if so would I always do 16 rows for row 3 each time? Hope my question makes since.

I love this blanket pattern. I need the blanket to be 32" wide. I know the video talks about using a larger loom but the largest loom I have has 41 pegs. If I made two of these blankets, is it possible to join them to make the width of 32"? If this is possible, then what is the best way to join them?
@TheDavetHomestead3 жыл бұрын
I personally don't like the look of joined panels. I would get a long loom or an infinity loom for larger projects.

How many skeins of yarn did you use for this blanket pattern?
@leaht93645 жыл бұрын
After my first 6 rows of my edging, I'm left with my working yarn on the left side of the anchor peg. But when you start the main body of the blanket you start on the right. How do I do that? I don't want to just throw in an extra row.
@TheDavetHomestead5 жыл бұрын
Hi! if you started the same way as me, then the cast on is 2 parts, 1st part goes counterclockwise, then clockwise. then row 1 is counterclockwise, then row 2 is clockwise and so on. If that is what you did, then you should be ready for the body to go counterclockwise, starting on the right side of the anchor peg. Did you made do a different cast one, like a double ewrap that only went once around?

So is this a real hurdle stitch or a seed stitch. Please let us know
@TheDavetHomestead3 жыл бұрын
It is not a seed stitch, but it is a stitch I accidentally came up with. I explain in other videos that I converted the hurdle stitch from traditional knitting wrong and came up with this. I called it the hurdle stitch incorrectly. Then later I make videos with what I call traditional hurdle stitch, which is actually a true hurdle stitch in knitting.
