Hi Ian, Good idea for a backing plate on the log. Blown Away almost sunk because one of those plastic fittings cracked! It’s always difficult working with epoxy in those temperatures, good job.

Hi Ian, thanks coming from you that’s praise indeed. Having recently retired from my full time job I’ve just started help a mate out with some general boat maintenance work. Antifouling, painting. Scraping etc so even busier now that when I worked. Still with the price of beer here, every little helps 🍺🍺

Great Video as usual Ian......I'm guessing/hoping its solid glass on the top without a core/filler? My wooden rails are looking their age, I was toying with stainless steel replacements, but this seems a reasonable solution. She's REALLY starting to take shape. I'm up here in Scotland champing at the bit waiting for temperatures to rise to get started.....I'd love a tent too, but it would probably last about ten minutes in our winds on the West coast of Arran.

Thanks very much. Yes solid glass coach roof. The rails were rather time consuming but to buy commercially they are around £70 each! Much more pleasing to make my own at a fraction of the price. My tent has lasted 3years now and survived winds gusting 60mph!. I have, to be fair gone through around 7 tarpaulins. A bit like Triggers broom 😂
