Presenting the energetic and vibrant Hurra Dance, a traditional and typical Magar dance from the eastern region of Nepal! This captivating performance was showcased as part of the Maghe Sankranti 2025 celebration, hosted by the Magar Association America (New York Chapter).
Hurra Dance is a popular folk dance of the Magar community, especially in the eastern parts of Nepal. It is known for its rhythmic movements, high energy, and traditional style, symbolizing joy, community spirit, and cultural pride. The dance was choreographed by the talented Renju Chhantyal and features a fantastic group of dancers:
