Stell was going through a rough time the past few weeks leading to this. He's trying his best to be positive. If you watch their Live during their 2nd Anniversary, his sadness was really obvious. It is was only Ken who was able to set his mood. The moment Ken sat beside him, his demeanor changed.

Ken's struggle in speaking straight Filipino is real. Even us native speakers don't understand some of the deep Tagalog words. But to be fair, it's not only him. Every one was having a hard time not to speak English.

They were laughing harder because they have to speak Tagalog. Nowadays Filipino are speaking Taglish (Tagalog mixed with English) and they (Sb19) were speaking “deep Tagalog or old word Tagalog”. Ken was extra giggly…speaking well “ deep Tagalog” considering he grew up speaking Visaya. Love it. ❤

You’ll notice that Stell is not as active and engaged as his usual demeanour. This was the phase when he was going through personal struggles whether its due to bashers, etc. this happened during their 2nd year anniversary era. But I am really happy for him that he was able to overcome this and gained his confidence back and a boost on his self confidence.

Speaking in straight Tagalog is difficult especially for the younger generation. Aside from that, they were using really deep words which makes it funny. It was like watching a historical stage play.

Taglish is more common spoken in cities surrounding Manila but this is doubly hard for Ken. He is more comfortable in Bisaya, and then English, plus Tagalog would be a language only spoken in school for lessons and a weekly Filipino Day, if they had something like we did.

They always jokingly referred to Josh as a bata "child" because of his height compared to the other members heights. But another fact is that Josh really looks young in person; he looks like he is the youngest of the group.

Speaking pure Filipino (Tagalog) is now really hard for us, Filipinos because we got used to speaking both English and Filipino, so we get to mix the two languages together every time we speak

In observance of the National Language Month, they were trying to speak in purely Tagalog in which our national language Filipino is based. But since modern day Filipinos are mostly code switchers you can see that their struggle is real. To give you an example, we count in English rather than Tagalog, especially after ten, the reason being Tagalog words tend to be longer.
