They wanted to marry her off despite being Suleyman's favourite, tried to kill her by burning, and also remember the trap that Valide set when she called Hurrem to the palace in the middle of the night. They tried to get rid of her with every ocassion. They are the ones who started this war-Mahidevran, Valide, Ibrahim. And others joined them during the show. Hurrem did what she had to do in order to survive in that palace.

She did charities which eased her reputation and also donated to slave that wanted to do her good works.
