Mahidevran is the definition of pathetic. She couldn’t solve a single problem on her own. Whatever mess she created, she always ran to Ibrahim, Hafsa, or Mustafa, begging them to clean it up for her. The bias towards her was unbelievable. Had Hurrem been in Mahidevran’s place, Hatice would have immediately gone to Suleiman to inform him. But in this case, she let it slide for Mahidevran, all because of Mustafa. Meanwhile, none of them cared about Hurrem’s children or how they were hurt by the way their mother was treated.

Because Mahidevran created no issues before Hurrem came, respected everyone, picked no fights and knew her place. That's why everyone liked and respected her too+ protected her so many times. If Hurrem would've done the same- they would've protected her too. In fact- they tried, but she treated them like "enemies"😉.

It seems like Hurrem's forget what Suleyman told her, Hurrem cannot meddle her noise in Hatice's private life and Suleyman said to Hurrem that she have no rights to threatening his sisters like rivals and be so arrogant with them. Hurrem think that she'll be powerful in Ottoman Empire but outside the Ottoman Empire she'll be weakness and in my country of origin we throw women like Hurrem to fire like witch in reason of her arrogance. Hurrem forget a thing she cannot reinstalled Nigar in the Harem cuz she was banished during Mahidevran's mandate in the Harem and Suleyman was agree on it because Nigar meddle her noise on Hatice and Ibrahim relationship and she was so aged enough to be wedded. Hurrem always be contrary against the rules she cannot reinstalled Nigar without the knowledge of Suleyman cuz only Suleyman can approve any move on his palace and we all know that Suleyman didn't agree with Hurrem's act.

Both share a lot of blame on both sides. Hurrem with her ambition and revenge. Mahidevran with her jealousy and manipulation to replace those in power in a bid to get rid of Hurrem. To me these women had too much time on their hands.

@@radiantcastle8247 did you see how the series began. Mahidevran was the one who started this war. As a matter of fact she sent poison to sultan's table to kill Hurrem while she was pregnant.
