I feel like one of main differences between Kosem and Hurrem was that Ahmed gave Kosem everything quite quickly (the title of Haseki, Harem etc) and everyone already loved Kosem. But Hurrem had to fight everything and everyone (from being chosen as concubine, to Hasekis title, to giving birth and getting married) and had to face lot of people like Ibrahim,Valide etc

Love this! Hurrem and Kosem are my favorite Sultanas. However. I do like Safiye in her own right, because she was raised and taught by Mirrhima, (who then took down Nurbanu, ugh- show Nurbanu). Mirrhima learned at Hurrem's knee then to Safiye to Kosem. Though I do like the walk scene, I would find it perfect for her to turn and see her crowned with Hurrem's crown.

There should not be any comparision between Hurrem & Kosem.Hurren saw one sultan. Kosem saw 6 ottoman sultan on throne and practically decided who to sit on that throne and when. On a note totally unrelated to the story, The actress who played Kosem at this stage of her life has the most beautiful face, and her natural brows are magnificent. I wish I could have brows like hers, they are absolutely perfect. Somehow, I must have missed the episode where she turned from blonde hair to black and this actress took her place. The older Kosem resembles this Kosem greatly but her sudden addition to the show after Murad was crowned didn't make sense either. At least Hurrem's changes made sense in the timeline of her life story. But aside from the sickness and hard days of her kidnapping, there was no reason really for her to age so rapidly. Many women at that age look lovely still, and Hurrem died young. I know WHY from a production viewpoint the story changed and she came back looking aged by 20 years due to the contract disputes. but did this also happen with the actresses who played the part of Kosem?

There is no comparison in between Hurrem and Kosem. Yeah Hurrem had to fought for everything even sultan's love but Kosem got her sultan's love even before she desired for it. Hurrem's world is about her sultan and children. While Kosem had to took reign of the empire in young age and fought for power to keep her children alive. Janssiri obeyed her more than her son who later took throne that shows how much power she got in her time. Most importantly she lost Ahmed at young age, leaving her vulnerable and alone to power struggle. Hurrem always had Suleiman by her side till she died.

main reason why historians cannot identified all sons and all daugthers ahmed I is because they change gorgian kalender with julians kalendar. but according to my personality reaserch Ahmed I had since 1603-1606 at least 7 or 10 sons and at least 7 or 10 daughters it is verry complicate change georgians and julians kalendar that ´s why one sehzade had three or more dates of birth for example sehzade mehmed son kosem - mehmed tezcan born 8.3.1605 borekci born 11.3.1605 pecevi 3.8.1605 everythink is corret. there are an another sehzadeler. mehmed suyera said that osman II was born 15.11.1603 but historians said that he was born 4.11.1604 ottaviano bon 1609 he had three woman two sons and three daughters. ps.
