All 3 episodes of animated story of Hurrem Sultan (also known as Roxelana).
Hurrem Sultan was one of the most powerful and influential women in Ottoman history as well as a prominent and controversial figure during the era known as the Sultanate of Women.
Young Anastasia, daughter of a priest from Rohatyn, western Ukraine, was taken prisoner and brought to Istanbul. There, the girl was lucky to be bought from the slave traders by the sultan's best friend and faithful associate, Ibrahim Pasha of Parga, who presented her to Suleiman as a gift in honor of the sultan's ascension to the throne.
Now part of the harem, the young captive immediately receives a new name - Hurrem, which in Persian means "one who brings joy" or "the cheerful one" and perfectly highlights the girl's cheerful character.
Soon, charming Hurrem manages to become Sultan Suleiman's consort and favorite.

"Haseki" means not "Sultan's wife". To be Haseki Sultan, you must give birth a Prince (Şehzade) or manage the Harem. Right, Hurrem married to Sultan Suleyman but not all Haseki Sultans not marry Ottoman Kings. In fact, the first concubine sultan to marry an Ottoman King is Hürrem Sultan.

Hasekis literal translation is favourite. You don't actually have to give birth to a son to be a haseki, there have been childless hasekis. Also hurrem is not the first sultan to marry an ottoman king but she's the first in a very long time

Hürrem was a very strong and intelligent woman. Some outsiders may think that she is cunning and evil, but Hürrem, who was not given much importance to women at that time, showed the power of women by helping in many state affairs and signed her signature as the first feminist woman since then. . As a Turk, I can recommend you the Magnificent Century series. A very nice Turkish series, everything in the series is in this animation. They show it in order and it's a very good series.

It is obvious that you are watching and telling the "magnificent century". 😄😄 Although it's a great drama, unfortunately it doesn't reflect the truth. Instead of searching on Wikipedia, you can get more realistic information if you go to Topkapı Palace, where real Ottoman archives are exhibited and the museum is located. but I liked the animation very much. Good Job👍💕

For example Suleiman sisters, hatice and mostly Shah and later fatma, bowed to Hurrem because hurrem as haseki outranked them and was above them. Exception is mihrimah sultan that stayed in topkapi and became valide sultan by Selim so nurbanu as haseki sultan had to bow down to mihrimah valide sultan.
