Ugh. I'm happy to hear you made it through but sorry to hear it took so long to get water and power back. We were in the States visiting family when Fiona hit but thanks to good friends, they battened down the hatches for us and we returned to no damage. We are on the South Shore (Liverpool) and thankfully didn't even lose power. You are correct about the people here. They are amazing.

Welcome to Nova Scotia. It's unfortunate that you had to move here before one of the worst Hurricanes ever in a 100 yrs. Juan and Dorian were bad. Oh, and White Juan was crazy bad. Over 90cm of snow in 24 hrs. We have shotty power here in Nova Scotia at the best of times but when you have multiple power lines down, It causes a problem, especially without the man power to get things up and running again. Hope it's not much longer before you get power. Keep that woodstove going.😊

Sounds like you've got some good neighbours ! There's a million different places to explore in Nova Scotia, but I must recommend you check out the vineyards around Wolfville in the annapolis valley. They are truly all world class, also take the family down to Lawrencetown Beach in the HRM and give surfing a try. You can rent everything you need for a great price cheers mate

Thanks for the comment! Surfing in the HRM sounds awesome. I need to spend more time in the Annapolis Valley, I made it out to Annapolis Royal and it's a beautiful area. I will aim to explore Wolfville. Thanks again!

Will you be having a Q&A session? I like Q&A videos, they are my favourite. I have many questions about many subjects. 🤓

Oh you poor bleeding heart green! Those trees are gone... you can't just plant more, these are nova scotia super duper rare trees! They don't have seeds so once they fall down they never grow again... ever.... Don't worry though, I'm sure monetary relief will come swiftly from the hard earned taxes of others to do nothing for this unsolvable problem that you're faced with- of those seedless trees... at least there is that... All kidding aside I'm glad you're all ok!
