What's up NUB NATION!! Today we tempted the heavy East Coast slab for the dream!! The surf ended up being pretty big dog due to Hurricane Florence!! Surfing on the east coast has been the dream for the passed week, but I want to send prayers & thoughts to people being effected negativity by this storm. Wow...some serious Nukegs out there! Beauty barrel at 4:00...Yeewww! Big Dog on the Ben Gravy Wave Bandit made my day! Just wanted to mention that there are beautiful beach properties up here in Nova Scotia waiting for you when you get that chance...hint, hint ;)...and they are on surfing beaches! My wife and I actually know the owners of one such property if you are interested...just sayin...something to think about for the future, that's all. When I was just out at Martinique Beach the other day I measured the water temperature with a pool thermometer and the water was 62°F ( 17°C) for your information...lots of coves, inlets and points for novelty searching if you're up for it. You can surf for 3 hours and only catch one quality wave but on that wave you get shacked in the green room deep and you make it out, then the session was a complete success. Nevermind if you paddled around and didn't catch another wave, all that matters is that one wave you caught. You get out of the water feeling stoked. That's the claim... For the Dream! NNFTW!

I surfed matunuck in Narragansett Friday, then got a few more at the Ks. Caught at LEAST 40 waves in 5 straight hours. I had to change spring suits midday because I felt guilty being that dude in the green suit catching too many waves. Ill tell you as a lifelong shortboarder, if you're only catching a few waves, switch to a 9'6" and weigh 145! The advantage is staggering!!! And a good noseride becomes the new air reverse. (Oh also be in your 40s and you'll get the bizarre undeserved seniority deference)

I visited Ruggles in July! I had to see the legendary spot, it wasn't that big when I saw it though. Amazing barrel!!! Looked like lots-o-fun at the beach house spot as well! Epic spotting your fans with your stuff! I always wear my BG shirt to the beach as well. French dude's claim was the best, "I haven't seen the ocean in 5 months! I'm so happy to see the ocean, I could cry!" 🌊😭😂🏄🍍😎👏 Remimds me of me. Power just went out 😩 and then came back on 😃 so I had to retype my comment. FTW!!!

First shark death since the 1930s on Cape Cod by a Great White. Be careful up there. That was really cool seeing some fans, especially the guy from France and the Big Dog surfing on your model board. Yewwwww.

BLACK05GO1 very sad, experts talk about how unlikely it is to get attacked. That statement should be followed by unless your surfing/boogie boarding or anything near a seal colony. Locals said the spot wasn’t far from a sandbar that gets packed with seals.

Cape Cod has an out of control seal population. People have been saying it was just a matter of time for several years. Rest of the East Coast hasn't had the same issue-- yet.

@@nnnnnnnnnick5557 Ya an ambulance picked me up and they kept me for almost 5 hours. I got bit on my heel and they decided not to give me the antivenom since the swelling didn't spread past my foot and below my knee. They gave me some pain medicine but it doesn't even seem to be doing squat except for make me feel nauseous 🙁.
