Florida should be the poster child for how to prepare for a hurricane and how to respond afterwards, I can not even begin to tell you how comforting it is to know that you all have thought of everything that we could possibly need after this hurricane passes through the state, and have it all lined up and ready to go. I had a massive grandfather oak tree fall on iur roof from IAN which is still not fixed and i have 3 trees 3-4 ft out of the ground that of course insurance decided wasn't a direct threat. Another oak tree on our roof we will be homeless

Less folks in mobile home communities will evacuate in these events as our government has allowed corporations to buy them up and raise the rents so high they cant afford to leave. Most have pets and many have given up their vehicles to afford their high rents. Good job to our political leaders !!

Insurance is a silly business in Florida. Building codes and code enforcement does not help protect us from storm surge or wind. High prices from mass migration to the state , high Interest rates and crazy HOAs are the perfect storm for a full collapse. There is only one way to fix the housing crisis in Florida. The government needs to get out of the way and let owners build and live how they want and assume all the risk they want to. The burden to inspect and certify a property should be solely on the buyer. They can go get all the pros, banks and insurance they want and need to feel they are making a smart and safe decision. Make Florida the real land of the brave and the free and it will naturally restore the American Dream.

Actually, sexual content to those in grades K-3 isn't allowed unless it's age appropriate, and can be reviewed in the legislation that's entitled: Parental Rights in Education Act. So, a teacher could show Wild Wild World of Animals to these students without any issues to educate on how offspring is produced.
