FACTS. Category FIVE hurricane history - almost extinct. Since Al Gore’s “Inconvenient Truth” (a melodrama posing as a documentary) it’s been about 17 years. During that time there have been TWO C5s to touch the USA but none in the last six years. In the 16 years prior to I.T. there were EIGHT C5s. 1990-2006 (8) Andrew, Mitch, Isabel, Ivan, Emily, Katrina, Rita, Wilma. 2006-today (2) Michael, Irma - none since 2018 Looks like they’re disappearing - thank you “climate change” The ratios are the same no matter which category of hurricane size you choose.
