Here's my boots-on-the-ground look in to how the homeless population around LA dealt with Hurricane Hilary.

I loved the guy who said he wanted to experience the hurricane (not hide from it) & all smiles when he said it ! I'm one of those😂, that wants to look the tornado or hurricane in the eye and live to talk about it! Glad everyone made it okay! ❤Some of the most courteous and content homeless. Life isn't supposed to be this way tho! When my guy lit that c/p dude got the msg quick! 💯💯💯😂

Cali hurricanes or not like everywhere else, we just get the blow by, just rain and wind and the wind is no stronger then 25-35 MPH

I think we need to be clear here. This was a moderate tropical storm at best by the time it reached California, not a hurricane. One fella said a cat 2 was a glorified rain storm and that is 100 mph winds. If it was even a cat 1 these folks wouldn't have faired so well. 🤔

I grew up in California and there are concrete water ways all over; why isn’t rain/flood water directed to there? btw we were in a drought in the 80’s and water levels dropping and they’ve done nothing! But yea the climate change is the cause.
