Hurricane Ian Preparation - Moving Dolphins

CMA has moved Rex and Rudy, our rescued rough-toothed dolphins, from the Rescue Deck into the Dolphin Complex in preparation for Hurricane Ian. The move went extremely well and we are happy to have these two better protected from the storm!

Hi cma! I love what you do and i hope to be a dolphin interaction specialist there in just a matter of years. (I'm 15) if one of your dolphin trainers could reply to me it would mean the world. I was worried about them but also knew you'd be keeping them safe! Did you move the bottlenose dolphins out of the tank Rex and Rudy were moved into?

I'm assuming that one of their bottle nose, possibly appollo was moved to the medical pool because that has enough water for one for a bit. And possibly they could of let an older dolphin like maybe pj be in with Rex and Rudy if they bonded well enough
