Subscriber here from WVa who, along with our church, prayed especially Wednesday evening for all of those in the hurricane's path. It's a different kind of helplessness knowing those we have come to know and love via youtube are in danger of yet more destruction. Thank God it was weakened to some extent. We live in Bradenton, Fl and just went through back-to-back hurricanes! We are soooo blessed and grateful to have had little to no damage to our home! There are so many more people who have suffered catastrophic damages!! We drove out to Anna Maria Island and it’s almost too much to bear!!! I am praying for everyone who has been effected by this storm!!! Especially those in North Carolina from Helene!!!!🙏🙏🙏

I also believe that prayer changed the outcome. It should've been so much worse and it would've been if it would've hit farther north, the storm surge would've been much higher. We lost power in Lakewood Ranch around 6:30 and got it back 46 hours later. That was a blessing!

God is good I lived hurricane Maria category 5 almost 6 years ago here in Puerto Rico never seen so much devastation in my life but the Lord is so perfect that in less than a year everything was green again never lost my faith in God he is the owner of the heaven and the earth why should I be afraid of ? I am so happy that you and family are safe! I live in North Port and it was relatively mild here. The surprising thing was the lack of rain . Yes, prayers are so important, our church had a prayer service the Sunday before. As God says in the Bible, “you have not because you ask not”. We really asked a lot through prayers to get through it safely. Always enjoy your videos!!

I do believe in the power of prayer. While I personally talk to God in little snippets, last Wednesday night, I and many others sat down and had a long talk with God. Our prayers were all with Florida and the people who have been through so much. Your community, your faith and your resilience is amazing. God was watching out for you. I live in the center of the state, near Lakeland. We had some very strong winds and lots of blowing rain! Praise God, the only damage we had was some large limbs that fell from the old oaks in our yard!! I am 70 years old and a lifelong Floridian. I have been through many hurricanes in my life! I stay prepared before a storm is out there! We lost power for a couple of days, but the linemen got it back on quickly!! I always thank our Lord above for His grace!! Glad to see that you are all safe!!

I was shocked by the 130 tornado warnings issued by the NWS in the hours pre-landfall. Massive tornadoes hit south and east of you, which is not normal for a tropical storm. Praise God that you're okay. It could have been a lot worse. I know some people on Siesta Key and they're okay, too.

I’m so glad you all was okay, I live in Kentucky, as the storm approached our area we got a lot of wind and heavy rain. I got to experience the eye of the hurricane, it was so amazingly quiet and the air was so different, I will never forget it, after it passed through we once again got more wind and rain. Trees down and limbs broken, some power out in places. We were very thankful for Gods protection. Sending love and prayers your way and for everyone that was in Milton’s path. 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼

You voiced truth in prep for a hurricane, it is not enjoyable but its necessary. I'm really glad you are all okay, being with church family had to be comforting. Not filming was wise, you cannot ever capture the feeling you're seeing and experiencing. I've been through a blizzard and way too many hurricanes--give me a blizzard anyday.
