Jimmy, I prayed nonstop when Milton was a 5 in gulf. I asked Jesus to spare His wrath on Florida and to fizzle storm out before it hits. Don't tell me prayer doesn't work. It is work and work's too. What a loving God we have. Thank you for sharing this. A lot of prayers answered, Praise Jesus i do. ❤

Holy Spirit may have taken His hand off of the world and drawn back some but it is NOT our Heavenly Father, or our Lord and Savior nor His Holy Spirit that creates these storms.

25:01 my hangar neighbor had this happen to his hangar during a storm, the bottom of the door blew in and hit his 182. I drilled holes in the bottom of my hangar doors and into the concrete, and put 3/4" steel rods through, to secure the doors and (hopefully) prevent that from happening. I put the rods in every time I close up the hangar.

I love your "Jimmy trying to be a hurricane news reporter" act. I give it a 1 out of 10 on that lol. However, you are at the top of my list as "The Stand up Guy" of the year award. God bless you even more Jimmy.

My dad, Col. Norman Walker (USAF, Ret, Dec 2023) was in MATS stationed in Japan when a massive typhoon (hurricanes on the other side of the IDL) was hitting his base. He was _THE_ guy when there was a mission that pushed capabilities or was particularly risky. So he was tasked with seeing whether they could fly the C-118s out. His experience is a story in itself. The TL;DR is after he managed to get in the air he commanded the rest to man the rest of the aircraft and "fly" them on the ground. That decision saved over a hundred aircraft. I thank God that more was not done though there's tragedy enough to go around. God, place a hedge of protection around our people in FL and affected states.

We're in Texas and I was ready to head that way to get my mother in law out if I needed to. Thanks for all that you're doing!

You are doing a great job, all the pilots in the area who rise to the job when something bad happens.. When you do replace the helicopter, you must consider a turbine like an MD500 or even better a UH1 (tong in cheek). When disaster happens again, which it will, you will have a machine that has capabilities that piston helicopters do not. As your helicopter training has finished, I hope, as part of the unofficial syllabus of rotary wing training, you read 'Chickenhawk' by Bob Mason; it defiantly an unofficial part of the syllabus here in the UK. Helicopters are far superior than fixed wing, "far better to stop and land, than land and try and stop". Keep the good work up and my thoughts and blessings are with you all who have been affected by the hurricane.
