There are reports of fatalities in Florida's St Lucie after it was hit by multiple tornadoes that came in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton landfall. Hurricane Milton was downgraded to Category 2 hurricane when it made landfall, still it left catastrophic damage. Heavy rainfall and storm surges caused dangerous flooding in few coastal areas of southern Florida. Hurricane Milton is expected to bring more devastating rains and damaging wind throughout Thursday, said US National Weather Service.
