@@dsantamaria713there are ways of being “honest” that don’t have to be rude, and aren’t “sugar coated” either. Sometimes saying nothing when a tragedy has occurred is better because sometimes people making their so called “honest” comments don’t have all the facts or it’s matter of opinion. For example, your neighbor just had a baby, and show her to you, you “honestly” think the baby is ugly, so, just because it’s the truth to you, is it the best thing to give them your “honest” opinion? I feel that sometimes people who say “I’m just being honest” say that in that in the guise of “it’s an excuse to use bad manners because it’s “honest”. Does that make sense? My response here sounds abrasive in text, but I’m “honestly” just making a point. (See what I did there 😂) but seriously, my point here is, many people are simply making thoughtless comments that are of no help or comfort to those who just had a horrific traumatic tragedy occur. We are missing family members, awaiting to get word if they are ok, and reading thoughtless statements by some commenters just adds insult to injury 😢
@OrbisBrevi3 ай бұрын
What's thoughtless about building better houses at these areas which are prone to hurricanes?people will say they can't afford better housing and even if it's true in 50% of the population living there, that's no excuse to not building a better home over the course of time if you are seriously trying to live in these areas you should've made your house better with whatever you have, honesty is nothing but reality, ofcourse you don't want to be ill mannered but when it's about these tragedies its better to be honest and call out those poorly constructed houses.@@SugarSugarCreek
