"Impressive dedication to your garden and the bees, even in the face of a hurricane! 🌪🐝 Your efforts to protect and nurture both the plants and the pollinators are truly inspiring. Stay safe and thank you for being such a caring steward of nature! #HurricanePrep #BeeRescue #Gardening"

🥰💕 thank you ! It brings me joy !!! I saved a dragon fly who couldn’t get out of my open greenhouse … kept hitting the plastic wall… ever since it brought it whole family here & they ate all the mosquitoes & biting bugs !!! 💕 the bees are abundant & are pollinating all my plants !!!

You're a hard worker Jennifer. Your garden looks beautiful & the crickets sound quite happy 🦗Have you ever canned stew? I love to make my own broth/stock and use it to make stews & soups. Your potatoes should come up again next year unless you have extremely freezing temperatures. Only do what's reasonable to fit into your time frame without stressing yourself. I admire your fortitude. God Bless You 🙏🏻❤️

Thanks so much ! 💕 I raw pack meat & vegetables which makes soup as it’s pressure canned … then when I use it I can add a thickener to make it into soup ! It’s good & convenient!!!

Oh my Jen IDK how you do it...I would be so overwhelmed with all the projects LOL I used to do lots of plantings but I found that it was way too much to handle. I just wanted to grow ALL THE THINGS....I quickly learned my lesson there. Now I do the minimum. Your buckets are looking so good!! 3:24 does look like a pepper to me. I don't usually plant potatoes but this year I did :) I need to harvest! I hate to hear that you paid for that manure and its full of rocks :( stubborn bee lol

@@IndianaBackyardGardener instead of being disgusted & depressed w/ this summer … I’m looking forward to next year ! The manure coming a month late ruined most of my growing season & food security ! I’m still hopeful to get as much as I can plus I can move the buckets to the greenhouse before the 1st frost but not enough time to grow cabbages I need & celery & other stuff so will have to go broke & buy what I need to preserve it lol but next year I’m hoping to finally have raised beds & ready for spring ! Once stuff is planted I’m good ! The more the harvest the better ! I wanted bee boxes this year tho I’m LOADED with bees & want to make my own honey … & I need chickens but can’t build a good coop & run this year … really hopeful for next year !

I forgot to ask where in NB are you located as I'm here as well? Mind you, NB is fairly large but when Debby came through, I was got some of the outer bands of rain.
