🥰thanks so much 💕I realized later on I don’t think this house is where I’m meant to be…I now see it’s what I’ve been given to use to get to where I’m supposed to be where I can thrive and live in peace … I’m trying to fix the house and yard up the best I can with whatever money I have each month to work with and it’s already increased in value 300% in the last 3 years just from the market because so many ppl are trying to move out here … so once I get enough fixed that it’s in decent sellable condition… I’m selling it ! *vacant house next door where the ppl from out of town never moved into yet… was broken into and vandalized last night 🤦🏼♀️it’s so peaceful here and very low crime … im so sick of dealing with this stuff lol I think it was a sign to motivate me more to get stuff packed now and keep doing what I can each month and get it up for sale so I can move asap! So I’m excited to be able to move and where it’s even more country and have a basement for storing all the stuff I can and where u can’t see the house from the road and not even know there’s a house there ! That’s what motivates me and keeps me from being so discouraged and depressed ! I’m ready to move and hopefully it will be my last move lol

awwwwww thats so sweet !!! hopefully i can give ppl some good info as I learn things along the way at my now old age of 39 ... lol i have had shockingly amazing support from other homesteading channels and its only been 2 weeks so lots of garden videos coming and chicken coop building and random info and home repairs ... well ... more like "how to prevent frozen water pipes that burst in the winter" and "what to do before shingling a roof to prevent flooding in the brand new addition you built and have re-do a whole roof" ... things i wish i knew lol
@wedbeebuzznhawaii86236 ай бұрын
I tell ya, people teach & learn so much on here. My aunties are in their late 60s & 70s & they are still doing home repairs just by watching videos. So, it helps a lot of people to see how other people do things. Have a blessed day & thank you for videos. Aloha 🌺🌺@@jenniferoceanhomestead

Same here lol I have to learn from scratch ! I just do the best I can and if it’s better than before I’m happy lol as soon as the snow melts I want to get out and airgraft as many apple trees and hazlenut trees on my property because it takes 60 days for the branches to grow roots so I can cut them off! So the sooner I airgraft them the sooner I can go back to cut all the branches off and plant them by the house ! It make great yr videos too … wish I learned how to do that long time ago ! Soooo much work to fix this land and house … built in 1912 and neglected especially the land and trees

Clam? I don’t eat any kind of seafood and don’t know anything about it … lol I’ve needed chickens the last 3 yrs and already picked them out and they deliver … so that’s another thing on my list to build a good coop and run fully fenced so they are safe !!! If you wrote my email send one there … if not use the one in the about section !

Hi Jennifer i seen you on our live last night and im here new and subed and watching your videos. Good luck on your dreams you can do it. One day at a time you will get there. also i have a saying, ( We never fail at what we do, we learn not to do that again and how can we do it better ) You can get free wood pallets to make your new raise garden beds. Look into Hugeklultur beds and leaf mulch from your woods. Good luck

Very true … all the horrible things I had to deal with and all the extra costs that are crippling … are learning experiences. I think of this as my practise property so when I can fix it up enough by fall to then sell…I can take all my knowledge with me when I can buy the land I want so badly on the ocean (and cheaply priced) and build a small home but without problems because I’ll know how to take extra steps to prevent things !!!

💕welcome over ! I’m working on it lol I try to make the best of everything and use what I have as an advantage to help get to where I need to be ! Like this house…it’s not the right home for me and I can’t thrive here but I can keep fixing it up… then sell it and that will give me the money I need to be able to move where it’s warmer and I have a better growing season for growing my own food and can have a home with basement to store it all ! Improves my health and saves money and creates security ! Lot of work but with it in the end

I have sooooo many videos of what I’ve done so far that I can share but sooooo many to post this year too… as soon as the snow melts I’ll be showing ppl how I air graft the old apple trees in the forest and the hazlenut trees so I can get roots to grow off the branches in 60 ish days then cut the branches and put them in 5 gallon buckets or the ground wherever I want … so I can make an orchard free and without traditional grafting ! That alone is life changing ! I can get free trees and close to the house just from air grafting ones in my forest … the stores here start at $80 for 1 small fruit tree ! Late on I may go into business selling trees for $29.95 lol most ppl can’t afford $80+ for a tree
