People say Hurts is the reason they lost, and part of that is true, I think the Eagles would've won had Hurts not got injured. But even then, there were things that the Eagles could've done better to avoid the loss all together, despite Kenny Pickett being in and playing poorly (Even if he threw a TD, the Eagles were in the redzone when he came into the game). Things like 1) Special Teams played poorly - missed field goal, punter is shanking punts, kickoff unit allowing big lanes for returns. 2) Kellen Moore and Vic Fangio forgot how to coach! - Mainly Moore, things like the wildcat, 3rd and 4th down decisions and late 4th quarter decisions hurt the Eagles - Vic Fangio was good a good majority of the game. his 4th quarter (very much including the final drive) was atrocious. Calling only Blitz and Prevent on a teams final drive with 2 minutes left is insane!! 3) DeVonta Smith drop - This hurt them the most, it reminds me of that one game back then when Stevie Johnson dropped that game winning pass in OT (At least Smith took accountability and didn't blame it on god like Johnson did) 4) The defense crumbling from the rest of the teams mistakes - This also hurt a lot for them, I think the poor special teams and Kenny Pickett turning the ball over hurt the defense too, over half of the Commanders drives started in Eagles territory... That shouldn't be possible!!! I think the defense also had a lot of miscommunication in the second half of the game, like they had no idea where to cover and corners constantly thinking they have safety help when they don't, oh and don't forget about being the 12th man on the field (Looking at Darius Slay) Overall however, outside of Hurts not being there (and the refs calling flags on the Eagles and Commanders every 2 plays) - This game was great! It'd be amazing if they met in the Wildcard/Divisional (The chain of reactions from Wann and Kris would go crazy)

The teams were pretty even in the injuries section for the most part (Though Jalen Hurts being hurt affected the Eagles way more then any other injury the two teams had) Though if both teams ended up healthy it would've been a great fight from start to finish

It was 21-7 in the first quarter. When Jalen got hurt. Schemes change, and defense stacks the box when a backup comes in. With Jalen, Eagles extend drives. Eagles had 4th and 1 two times in the 4th quarter and punted it. With Hurts, they go for it, and get it. Daniels doesn’t throw for 5 TDs when offense extends drives.
