Maybe the guard dogs are on high alert whenever the chickens wander too far away after what happened to Betty and her chicks.

Rachel I was raised on a farm, we would get cow corraled. It was a all hands on deck thing. But Dad would get excited and start yelling at us to do it this way or that. Mom would warn him to stop yelling at her. He would forget and she would leave us kids out there with Dad and his way of doing and being snippy, like Kevin is. Fun memories now but not back then. Nothing is worth fussing that much over! Remember Rome was not built in one day. Kindness goes along way to saving feelings and a good relationship. Rocky ground is horrible to work with.

Kevin…get you a 6 ft piece of pipe just big enough to fit over T post with cap on one end. Then put it over the T post when driving down. That will keep T post from bending and will hit the top of the ground once your at depth.

It was fun to watch the post going in, when we posts in here we always hit rocks, and when I helped my father dig for the bathroom we hit rocks most of the way down, after about 4 feet we hit clay and man it would stick to our shovels, our sneakers, the wheel barrow and when we got to the level of the rest of basement and got to climb out we had to scrap all that clay from our sneakers; that fence looks pretty solid, and its not as if the chickens are going to knock it down, or pull the posts out

We used to unfold a wire coat hanger & use the hook part to catch the chickens by the legs & then put 'em in crates to move 'em. That was back in the 60's when my parents had a ton of laying hens & sometimes we had to move 'em from chicken house to chicken house. Oh what fun me & my 2 brothers had! All of this was done at night. Boy, I'm glad I can get my eggs & chicken meat at the store now, cause I'm too old to do yard chickens. But I love watching y'all!

Kevin, my husband said to get a 2 and a half inch 6 ft long pipe and put the T post in side it, then pound the T post with the equipment, the pipe will keep the T post from bending because it will provide support for the T post. It will serve as a sleeve for the T post. Once the T post is in, to the 6 ft you want it, pull the pie off and use it the same way for the next post. He also said to midasize the tracker lol he has been an equipment operator for 30-35 years. And has worked on them as well. He loves watching your channel
