Kayla Murphy yes.... i get that.... but the whole thing was that it was a different type of liner that she was using, making it super hard for nikki to make the same look she was going for.

The gel liner or even a pencil liner would've worked better as a black base on the lid. Nikki got screwed lol .. the liquid liner she used is really only usable for lines.. it dries pretty quickly and can Crack off etc..

I'm glad I'm not the only girl who used to be abhorrently anti-girly, who's now learned to enjoy makeup, dressing up, and being ladylike! When I was younger, I wanted to buck stereotypes at every turn. Now, I feel comfortable indulging in the more traditionally feminine things that make me happy, while also not doing things that make me feel less myself (ex: I don't wear makeup every day, since I want to push myself to be comfortable in my skin rather than teaching myself that I look ugly without makeup). Plus, dressing up and wearing makeup really is just full body arts and crafts! Love y'all.

Yeah it's really amazing how we internalize misogyny isn't it. I hid my feminine side too so I could ge taken seriously in the world and not "just as a girl". I've come to understand that I can be a girl and be successful
