I think the correct translation is that he took a donor's heart that ws supposed to go to his son and gave it instead to the mistress's child.... but I agreeeee with you, they need to leave the medical field in these dramas. all their doctors and nurses are easily bribed and perform surgeries on people unwilling just bcs!!!

So his son needed heart transplant urgently and when a donor heart arrived instead of giving it to hospital son he gave it to his mistress kid who’s was someone else’s and didn’t need it as urgently and he didn’t even bother to go and see his own son and didn’t even know he’d died until his mistress stole the ashes to blackmail FL oh and on top of that he used his wife’s money to support his mistress and her kid and pay for a house and hospital bills for this kid.

FL took no prisoners, loved her. She was about that 'eye for an eye' thing. I loved she brooked no crap. ML was a piece of trash. Son was dead and he didnt know. The scheming heffa said what she'd done and ML was less angry with her than he was with the wife. Scheming cow lied about the poison, and ML was still taking her side. He used FL'S money to 'help' the little cow and her son and thought it was ok. How do you help your ex with your wife's money and think she'd be OK with that. He should've just asked for a divorce because where he was and who he was with is where he wanted to be. Because wife didn't 'rely' on him as much because she wasn't a whiny waste of space, he kept helping the other cow. Emotional cheating is worse than physically cheating to me. Man had a 2nd family and was Johnny on the spot for him, while he just left his wife and child and didn't see a problem. He and that cow got everything they deserved. I felt for the wife and the children.

this ranks as one of the cruelest dramas I have watched. The mistress was one of the cruelest as well. It up there with the ones where the childs blood was drained, early birth and ultimate death to get umbilical the cord, the one where someone removed kidney and corneas and the worse thing is the FL takes them back in most cases.

I think the one where the ML was helping the mistress find her dog, leaving his kid unattended at the beach- then he and mistress blocked the ambulance the Mom and his kid were in because the dog was dying. Turns out the mistress and her “sister” drugged the dog so it went mad and chased the ML & FL’s daughter toward the sea causing her to almost drown preceding to her death.

The dramas where the mistress and ML caused the death of the FL's child have some of the best revenge plots. The truly vicious ones are where the ML forces the FL to abort a baby, donate blood, donate a kidney, and THEN the FL goes back to him. Those are vicious and sick AF.

The FL's revenge on the ML is great to watch but, also it's heartbreaking that what was once a great relationship, was torn apart by a man who put another woman and her son before his own wife and child. He let down his wife but what he did to his son was far far worse. It was unforgivable.

This is the type of drama that makes you feel so many emotions because of how ridiculous it is. Like the father works in the same hospital and doesn't know that his child is dead until much later because he didn't bother to check his child's status or no one from the medical staff said anything to him. However, there is still enough time to check on the other woman's child. He didn't deserve to be called "dad" by his son or "husband" by his wife. Let's just say Xiao Hao was fatherless

Jeeeze,Please ,if you have any triggers about losing a child ,Do NOT watch this.... This is so well produced and then acted by the FL it is painful... Her vision of her little boy turning and waving to her while walking to be cremated is one of the best produced scenes I have seen ..Heartbreaking ,Completely new script ,new actors, they all acted well . A womens journey to avenge the death of her son due to malpractice of her husband blinded by his ex girlfriend into killing his child . The ending was a bit odd ,just stopped so not sure if they both died in the end or not .

I 💯% agree. The wife was a bit ruthless but considering what she and her son went through, it's understandable. The hubby thought his only responsibility was his work and that "other" family. He just left his wife holding the bag to deal with it all. Bahh! Useless/brainless 2 legged amoeba. 1 cell organism without a purpose. Thanks to these dramas, I have added "unreasonable" to my list of most hated words. That word is used on the FLs when they are right in their actions/feelings, but the MLs can't explain their own actions. They know they are in the wrong. This schmuck is dense like a mud hole and takes no responsibility for his actions but keeps defending the ex gf vs his wife. Yeah, karma got him good, but that's hos own fault.

I’ve seen another revenge drama with almost similar plot but the dad is a firefighter. He chose to save the other woman’s kid first so his own kid is dead (I wonder if there are also other similar dramas but with different kind of job). The plot of that drama is more detailed and longer than this. There are more revenge parts…and the acting can be considered much better 😅

There is another version of such plot is also in which ML works in fire station during fire in building he went to save his ex n her child instead of his n FL child so baby girl died husband come to know about his baby girl death after ceremony. 2ML helped in talking divorce n FL married 2ML happily as she fallen in love with him . ML died n FL didn't come to know about it while mistress got crazy n her child died . FL took proper revenge no merce at all. That one was much better than this version

This is not the first time I’ve seen doctors described as ‘poor’. Sometimes I also found it in translated Chinese online novels. In some plots, there are even parents who looked down on their kids’ doctor bf/gf because they’re ‘just a doctor’ and sometimes the doctor characters ‘can barely afford to help their own parents’. This quite baffles me. I wonder if regular doctors (aside from the specialists/surgeons) are indeed an underpaid job in Mainland China…or they are just being compared to those other ‘billionaire CEO’ characters
