Yup, absolute insanity. Reading between the line it seems she willingly and consciously ignored all the red flags because he, superficially, was out of her league. She thought she struck gold simply because he was attractive. It happened to a friend of mine, though with the genders reversed, where my friend would ignore all the red flags and all nasty behavior just because she was way out of his league as far as looks go. She bled him dry. She freeloaded on him; she spent (and stole some of) his money, lived in his house rent-free, used (and crashed) his car. She of course cheated on him too, multiple times, before he finally stopped taking her back and forgiving her.
