The cutscene with Von croy with the jackals beside him is so chilling to watch after all these years and Lara grabbing the amulet from the slot and graciously diving out of the citadel and those knights are going be even creepier in the remaster. 😎🌟♥️

Oh yea, updated outro! Let's go remasters To be fair, so much happens in Cairo that I forget about Jean-Yves too... it's like "oh yea, you were captured" when you finally find him lmao. I kinda agree about the knights, tho I do like that you use them to open your path, they were underused. Def could have done more with them before the level is over.

Totally forgotten how baroque, intricate and eerie was the Cairo section. Nonetheless, it is always a pleasure watching you guys exploring and having fun!

Haha the ending changed! A victory, truly :D And this video was quite victorious as well, you finally beat Cairo :) And it makes me less worried about using flares because you used so many yet still had many left. The two of you looking for the compass was so funny though :D I wodner how possessed Von Croy will look remastered. These creepy places with moody lighting could get some interesting remastered look as well! Aww and the jackals, looking forward to those! And now, Giza. I adore the end-of-the-world atmosphere in this part, whenever you can see the sky it won't let you forget just what's happening.

I never understood why Set just waited around in a room which could be locked from the outside. It looks very silly and not at all like an unstoppable force of evil.

My only gripe with logic here (and it's the game's story) why would an 11th century citadel vault containing templar corpses be sealed off with over a thousand years old Ankh amulet... I can get an idea that the Templars might have obtained the ceremonial tablet thinking it's a historically important artifact but how come a slot fitting the Ankh-shaped amulet was there puzzles me to this day... Yes, I know it's the 90's when it was made and accuracy wasn't their goal LOL

I never did find the mummies and skeletons from the earlier levels particularly creepy, but the undead crusaders really give off such an unsettling vibe. It's clever that you have to use them to help you progress through the level though!

@@Raidercast I think maybe it’s partly because of the types of places you first encounter each of these enemies, and the sort of music that plays too. When you first see the skeletons it’s bright and sunny and the music is dramatic. But the crusaders are encountered in a deep dark pit and the music is more eerie. 👍 Looking forward to seeing the Giza levels :)
