This is my first time watching Raidercast and to see that Amy is featured in it, is incredible! Loved it when Chris said he just wanted to be able to play Tomb Raider from the sofa with a controller, and knowing now that a second trilogy of remasters is on the way. So good. I remember buying the entire collection of Tomb Raider on Steam in 2015 and being desperate to play them, but I just couldn't get them to work. These are good times indeed.

I’d love to see that maths vid on tomb raider geometry. I was able to work out myself that a square is 2 square metres and a click is 500cm cubed after working backwards from moveable block heights which match the square tiles. Seeing how it all can be applied Game Theory style would rock!

If Lara has been awake for at least 2 days straight since the Tomb of Set, I wonder if some of the more supernatural enemies are just her hallucinating from sleep deprivation? Obviously quite a lot are real like the giant scorpions and skeletons but the latter could be cybernetic thralls like in Underworld and Lara is too stoned from no sleep to notice the eitr that augmented them. The wraith jellyfish could be complete hallucinations and the scarabs could just be regular non carnivorous ones but Lara keeps envisaging them as the death beetles because she was remembering The Mummy so she has a bad trip. Also, the last place with classic lever switches was Inside Menkare’s Pyramid at the double ropes if I remember right. Before then it was Citadel Gate.

At last. I have had the time to watch Alfredo complete TRIV. Was an absolute pleasure watching you guide Alfredo through my favourite Tomb Raider game. He did so well and the montage was brilliant. And seeing your gorgeous dog. Thank you so much. A BRILLIANT series.

The ending hits harder now that we know how history played out and in many ways, despite 5 and AOD, this *is* the end of classic Lara as we know it. I know narrative and character development is slim in the 90s but you can tell that Lara is just so bloody tired by the end of this. Disillusioned and like she could pack it all in whether she got out of the pyramid or not. This is a nice through line to AOD where she’s forced into adventure again.

Wonderful end to the series. Happy anniversary to a fantastic game and thanks as ever to you two for the hours and hours of entertainment. 🖤
