Can I just say that as a woman it’s so refreshing and admirable to hear another women say that she enjoys cooking cleaning taking care of her husband and children, modern day society too often makes us feel like we shouldn’t be proud to be that way and say those things, because it means we are being some sort of “slave” or something. It’s ok to be an independent and strong women but still be a wife and mother and do all those “traditional” things. Love it! 👏🏻

I literally PRAY we can get back to these strong family values and structure...and SOON! We are quickly losing our identities and ability to relate and communicate with others. It’s these close-knit family structures within which we grow up as children, that we learn and develop our own strong identities our abilities to build solid relationships with others and how to handle things like anger, sadness, conflict, loss, how to be supportive of one another, how to work together for a common good, etc. When children don’t grow up in homes with strong family structure and values, one can see the PROFOUND impact that can have on them and vice versa, how well equipped they are to handle their world when they grow up as strong individuals! Sorry that was so long, but it’s SO important! You guys rock!

Our story is so similar it’s scary 🙈 My husband and I got married at 19 (me) and 2 weeks before my husband turned 19 and he proposed at the end of basic training. We moved to Japan 4 months after getting married and found out I was pregnant less than 24 hours after arriving. I gained 50lbs between getting engaged and getting pregnant so I hit my heaviest after having my son. I didn’t start trying to lose weight until my son was 10 months old, and now 6 months later I’m down over half of my goal! (45lbs out of 79lb goal). I’m not having another baby until I hit my goal even though I want it so bad
