6 HOURS. 6 HOURS. Th.. This right here BOI is just PURE HARDWORK AND DEDICATION. WoWW. I love how all the colors work together perfectly and just gahh! **"SAPPY" STORY INCOMING YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED** Okay, I admire how much time you put on making art. I want to play the piano better and I've been getting lessons since I was 7 I think (I'm 14 now, still a kid) And.. since I wasnt so serious and I kinda lacked interest back then, I didnt practice alot. Although very late, I realised very recently how much time, money and energy I wasted because I almost never practice. And.. I want to change that. Although this video has nothing to do with music, the amount of dedication you put into your art just motivates me to practice even more. This is beautiful! You probably get asked these sorts of questions a lot but how long did this take you? Also, your painting of the skin is so so smooth is there a certain technique you use to achieve it?? Do the watercolor pens help with a smoother finish??? Your skills are really immense and the outcome looks great

This one took me 6 hours. For the smooth skin.... I water down the colors so its mostly just tinted water, lay down the water in the desired area and then blot the edges gently with a paper towel and then I repeat this process, each time applying a more pigment to my water. The paper towel and the lots of light layers help get a smooth blend. The water brush doesn't necessarily help to achieve that smoothness, it's just a tool that I prefer to use! :)

I don't feel like a master at watercoloring at all. But I've been painting with watercolor for years and years. Basically since I was very little and I never stopped. So I think I've become very familiar with the medium. Thank you!
