To get Megalomaniac map size it is easier to go directly in settings from the main menu and select open userdata it will open the folder with the settings file

Oh wow, I've never clicked the debug mode button before, gonna get on that next time I play. Really liking your stuff, the algorithm threw your freight distribution video at me at the weekend after I'd (finally) stumbled on something similar myself after 500 hours of play. Definitely going to have a go at building the maintenance depot and yard from the previous video i just watched of yours too 👍

That is actually really interesting, I will try this. The graphics look amazing and if megalomaniac size is what it says then that would be great. I hate that in the game there’s really not too much room to separate intercity/express/regional/sbahn etc. Also maybe the growth of towns will make it nicer as they are really tiny when I play. As for vehicles, I always just use steam workshop modern vehicles as I don’t really like the ones in the game. I’m the type of player to play with infinite money and build the perfect network, and start making money way later into the game. Kind of like a model railway. the game could use dual mode locomotives or some shunting stuff so that electrification could be useful even if your entire network isn’t electrified.

i could be wrong but im pretty sure this works in game, i think u can run elec trains over non elec but they give no power, might be confusing this with another game will check tomorrow

Personaly i think : vehicles never expire isnt really a cheat, cuz yes manufacterers miht close, and all examples can get scrapped , but with enough cash youcan build new ones, just why would you

true yep! But in the context of tpf2 you cant order custom vehicles like real life so older ones can do the job better

My system doesn’t have an AltGr key; the internet says use Alt+Ctrl together. That also didn’t work for me until I found this thread and restarted the game, now it works

I have enabled Debug mode but when i press AltGR + D nothing happens. The camera just moves to the right a bit cos D is move right! Any idea what is wrong? I know altgr button is working because altgr + r gives me an NVIDIA performance overlay that i never knew exsited lol.

Maybe I'm missing something, but your description says "Best Seeds Guide" and I don't see any seed recommendations other than find one you like. I was hoping for some beginner seed map recommendations, especially based on the title. Did I miss them?

@@Hushey When you create a map, you give it a seed to create a pseudo random number/map. In Kingdoms Reborn, players have published seeds that have produced maps that they had enjoyed.

yeah the number is totally irrelevant the algo makes the gameplay the same 99/100 with city placement and industry placement, its not random for the most part. You need to worry abt is terrain which is covered thruout this video

@@fedos hi yes this is a windows thing too, maybe your keyboard is missing the numbets section or a few keys here and there and some designs are like that.

@@Hushey I can assure you that "AltGr", which I learned is how it's typically written in the 30 minutes I spent trying to figure out what you meant by "alt g r d", is not a Windows thing. I've been working with IBM-compatible/MS-based computers for 3 decades and have never seen a key labeled "AltGr", nor a hotkey list that referenced it. I have a full layout keyboard.
