Seeing your video in my notifications immediately brightened my day, and by the time I finished I was chuckling. Thank you so much for sharing "strumpet whore" with all of us! Hammer is one of the iconic names in horror, in part because of the caliber of actors who appeared in their films. I was unaware of the company's later history, and knew nothing about this series. Now you have me morbidly curious about it. Bad horror, like bad drama, can make for some truly wonderful comedy, especially when coupled with nonsensical scripts. For ongoing bad series, however, i think it is best to have someone curate for new viewers. It is useful to know which episodes are worth watching for their humor and which ones are simply boring and missable.

I'm a huge Hammer fan, and even I think this is bottom-of-the-barrel rubbish, but it does have a certain style to it that is at least pretty well-produced, because the people involved were professionals and knew their job well. You might get something out of the experience, especially if you like "so bad it's good" sort of film and TV. I would advise, the more I think of it, to just consider it like AHS. It's not going to be good or particularly well-done, but there are some good actors and some interesting ideas. It's likely to be at least a little frustrating, though, because none of them are done well. I do think that the series would lend itself very well to riffing -- it's just full of these little moments. Though none, I maintain, ever achieves the level of "strumpet whore".
