houstonveer: can u imagine the RnR Hall of Fame inducting the Huskers? Maybe 1% of all music gets promulgated via mainstream radio or zine push etc and most of that sucks. Unfortunately that is the ilk that gets recognized. I know the Skers got some run in Rolling Stone but C'mon. Imagine Bukowski or Hunter S as required prep school reading. Love to be wrong about this but I'm not. SmokinStubs, Bob and Grant were openly gay and everybody who followed them knew it, grow up!
