I absolutely adore Trev Alberts, Me and my friends were playing basketball at the Goodyear Rec Center in Lincoln, Ne. This is like 1992 when Trev was still playing for NU. He spent a hole hour talking to us kids and playing basketball with us. Then signed an autograph for all of us. Great example of a humble guy. Trev will bring NU back to dominance.

Outside of Coach Devaney and Coach Osborne, Trev might be the most important hire in Nebraska football history! I remember seeing Trev raise all kinds of hell when working at ESPN.......

TA you need to do better you and the President of the school hired a cosch with a bad record overall. I dont see at coach help Nebraska football team win more games. I hope Nebraska wins.I know Nevraska sports history alot. Im fan for 55 years. I dont want see Nebraska win 1 game with the new coach. It would be Sad to see that. Im happy when Nebraska wins, sad and mad when Nebraska does'nt. I seen you when you played you are a winner and SF was and is a winner always. If, Nebraska does'nt win you need to leave and the President of school leave with resign. You and President of the school didnt do right regarding SF he should have stsyed the season.

LF is a better coach than MR any day of the week. You should have hired other coaches that are better. The coaches I wanted are better than MR any day. You need to do better and the coaches, too. to help Nebraska football team WIN more games and titles.

Look Im like Trev because one never knows what you truly have on your hands till the Ball is put in play. ALL I know this for certain is this, IF the right message is put forward this next week right from day one and we can get to the Meechicken coming into Lincoln game and are un defeated.....all bets are off....! People say that's a pipe dreams but before you go thinking me crazy..THE GLARING 800 LB GORILLA IN THE ROOM THAT NO BODY SEEMS TO WANT TO JINX BY TAKING ABOUT & EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE OVERLOOKING IS... THE PLAYERS ON THIS TEAM. HOW BADLY DO THEY WANT TO BE TRULY SPECIAL? HOW BADLY DOES THIS TEAM WANT TO GO PLACES AND MAKE IT'S MARK OR A NAME FOR THEMSELVES ? BASICALLY HOW BADLY DO THESE GUYS WANT IT ! ARE THEY WILLING TO PUT EVERYTHING ELSE IN THEIR LIVES SECOND AND FOCUS ON THIS SEASON AND WINNING THEIR #1 THING ? IT TAKES A MASSIVE AMOUNT OF COMMITMENT, DEDICATION, DRIVE AND PERSONAL SACRIFICE, THE RIGHT ATTITUDE, PAYING THE UTMOST ATTENTION TO EVEN THE SMALLEST OF DETAILS, BEING ACCOUNTABLE AND HOLDING THOSE AROUND YOU ACCOUNTABLE, GETTING EVERY SINGLE PLAYER, STARTER OR NOT, TO BUY IN AND BE ACCOUNTABLE TO EACH OTHER AND FOCUS ON THE GOAL, NOT THE JOURNEY IT TAKES TO GET THERE, TO BE OF ONE MIND, ONE PURPOSE.. TO WIN EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU STEP FOOT ON THE FIELD NO MATTER WHERE THAT FIELD MAY BE, TO SHUT DOWN AND OUT ALL OUTSIDE INFLUENCE TILL THE SEASON IS OVER....TO ONLY LISTEN TO THEIR OWN HEARTS. IF THESE YOUNG MEN HAVE THE INTESTINAL FORTITUDE TO DO THAT AND TO GET THOSE AROUND THEM TO GET ON BOARD....AND UNDERSTAND THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO ACCOMPLISH A CERTAIN SET OF WELL DEFINED GOALS.. IF THESE YOUNG MEN CAN DO THAT, THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN STOP THEM OR STAND IN THEIR WAY BUT THEY HAVE TO BELIEVE AND EXECUTE....
