I have the 11 piece Astro snap ring plier set (2 pieces are picks) and it’s held up great for $35ish. I don’t think they sell it anymore but looks ABN sells the same exact set.

I know knipex is not cheap but they have some flat jaw channel locks that open parallel. Worth it

I've been wanting a parallel pliers like that, I was looking at the 10in Icon one because I'm cheap but I think I might actually prefer the name brand for this tool... I'll have to get my hands on each and look at them in person.

I wasn't a believer in expensive (they aren't really that expensive) and had cheap and other brands, but after buying some Knipex Cobra pliers it really opened my eyes to a quality tool. I use it more than 3-4 other pliers combined. It just grips so well, the teeth last a long time and adjusting is so easy.

​@@MrZimmaframeright. The only people who buy the cheap stuff are ones who haven't used the good ones. Bc once you use the good tools you realize how bad the cheap ones suck. I'm to the point I wouldn't buy a screwdriver for 10 cents if the tip is gonna slip, bend, gull, chip , etc. I'd rather pay 50 dollars if it fits properly and doesn't strip screws or end up with a mangled tip.

Allright I have your answer for files...Look no further my man than...BAHCO...thats right owned by snap on but quite affordable...make that VERY affordable and DAMN good decent sharp files.They will satisfy your needs VERY well..

Was at Home Depot tonight and everyone of the husky tool chests has paint runs all down the fronts and sides. Also, the drawers were hard to pull out. Piss poor quality. Will go with US General.

Yeah, I wouldn't want a poorly painted box either! Where you looking at the heavy duty boxes or the regular boxes? There is a big difference in quality. Mine is painted perfectly, and the drawers are some of the smoothest drawers I've ever pulled on, with the nice soft-close drawers. But it always depends on quality controls for these places. You can find lemons anywhere, and without a question with US Generals, Harbor Freight is known for poor QA. I had a 26" US General top and bottom and on the bottom there was a huge section with no paint at all on the inside of it and it already had surface rust on it. I think they have stepped it up in recent years, and also with the Series 3, but check the insides just to make sure of it... because my US General was missing large areas of paint inside of it and rusting.
