I love it when cats stand up to dogs. Poor Key though! I had a large moggy (Magpie) who was terrified of my chihuahua mix. Monty used to sneak through the pet gate to chase Magpie out the cat flap. Eventually Magpie got wise to this and would hunker down in his bed and Monty would race past thinking Magpie was outside. When he realised he wasn't outside, Monty would attempt to come through the cat flap only to discover that Magpie had positioned himself on the other side of it ready to swat Monty. It was so funny. I had to rescue Monty from the back doorstep several times because the mean Magpie was waiting for him. Lol

We used to have a maremma sheep dog and she was such a sweet girl, and we had this little Maltese/chichuha mix that I’m convinced suffered napoleon syndrome and used to bail her up in corners because she was such a sweetie and wouldn’t fight back…. Unless he managed to nip the membrane on her leg, but even then she just snapped at him

My sister rescues cats and she has 10 of them plus a dog. She also feeds a cpl of foxes at night. One of her cats a very young one just out of being called a kitten is called Tim, he is totally fearless and loves food. One night the fox came into the garden to eat the food left out for it, but Tim decided he also wanted the food so he went up to the fox many times his size and smacked it on its snout, the fox unsure of what just happened went to go to the food again but Tim stood his ground and smacked it again. The poor fox went off hungry as Tim devoured all its food lol
