"Nan! Nan! You're HOME!!!" I remember when I went to college, and I came home for the weekend after a couple of weeks. Our little rescue mutt Samantha was in the back yard. When she saw me, she went CRAZY. She started running around, jumping, dancing, barking, crying, her tail wagging like crazy. "Big brudder Brad! Big brudder Brad! You're HOME!!" One of my all-time favorite memories. (It's been over twenty years since that sweet basket case crossed the Rainbow Bridge, and I still miss her.)
