Jodie, when I read the title I was holding my breath until I heard the news. Thank the good Lord Key’s liver is ok. After losing Sherpa none of us can bear the thought of Key having liver issues. Hopefully the allergy injections will help him. I’ll be glad to send you some money to help pay for them. Because Key is correct. He is special to millions around the world. @ Yes, July 15 from liver cancer. I never met that sweet fluffy boy, but I’ve cried so much since he passed away. Jamie made a video about it if you want to watch. But be warned it’s emotional.

Losing Phil and Sherpa has made 2024 a sad year. And now Millie is struggling as well… I can sympathize with Key because I’m allergic to everything also, always having mindful of what I eat and the environment. Hang in there, your beautiful boy will be OK!

Jodie, I was so relieved to hear that Keys liver has no issues. Having a dog with allergy problems, is certainly not easy to deal with, especially when the needed medications can cause other issues to arise. It is obvious how much you love Key, when you take the time to research what is best for him. I have no doubt that you will find the right medication solution for him, and judging by the way he was looking at you, he understood that you are doing all this to keep him happy and healthy.

Pleased to hear lots of positives with Key. Anything you take has a side effect of some kind, even drinking too much water can be harmful, the trick is to find a happy medium between making Key a happy lad and your bank balance not being hammered, my daughters dog needed medication and the vets sold her the drug she needed, she said that she just couldn't keep finding the money every month to help him, however, she now buys the same drug from Amazon at at fraction of the cost.

@@LH-021 Thank you. Her dog has improved quite a lot, he is an old dog but that doesn't mean he has to go without because of the cost which was worrying her, the mark up from the vet was quite obscene. Sometimes they know we will pay anything to help our pets and charge accordingly.

Someone in Oklahoma who loves Lord K'eyush. I'm so happy the Key is o.k.. I lost my 15tyr old Long haired dachshund a year and a half ago. I was devastated when Sherpa passed. Key's fans are praying foe him to have a long healthy life.

Key's head and body being totally separate beanbags, complete with a gap, is classic Key. If the current med isn't causing serious problems my instinct would be to stick with it and just monitor for liver effects. Depending on vet advice etc.
