I love seeing a husky off lead, they are distance runners and world class escape artists who can and will get out of most gardens and restraints. Anyone who can train recall into a husky has the heart and soul of the dog in their hands, good for you in being a great owner.

Sherpa is beautiful and looks amazing for 11! My parents choc lab, Oliver, turned 13 on April 1st. and just like any teenager, he doesn't listen and does what he wants. They blame it on the hearing loss, but I think he know exactly what he is doing :)

I so wish my Milo was still with us. I can see him & Sherpa in my mind clear as anything, going bonkers playing together. He was a friend to all too, completely gentle with anyone nervous & he never lost his puppy dog face. Everyone fell in love with him. It would definitely have been a competition between him & Sherpa as to who could wag their tail the fastest!

Arthritis, heart murmur, diabetes...yet he made it to the grand old age of 17 & none of those illnesses got him in the end, nor did they bother him much throughout his life. Yet because he was the runt of litter, the RSPCA wanted to put him down because they said if he lived, he'd have a poor, short quality of life. Thankfully, a family friend (sadly gone too) fostered him, believing it too be utter b******s. Luckily, at the same time, she knew of a family thinking about getting another dog.....the rest as they say, is history!
