I have the same box that you have. My slide broke. I called the number that you had listed. I got set up with a guy. Told him what I needed. Sent a picture of the slide. He said he would get a hold of me in 6 days. He called today and said they don't make the part anymore. Wonderful. I went over to lowe's and found on similar to what was in there. I'll have to jury rig a little to get it to work. Good video though. Thanks.

@@alanray4689 I don't have the part number. I went to lowes, and bought a drawer slide. Make sure it's the right length, Adapted it to the drawer on my tool box. So far it works great. I, also called the company. They said they don't make that part anymore. Good luck.

No rivet gun, could you use self tapping screws...or if new holes, self drilling? I worry about the head of the screw.

The rivets came with the drawer slides, I don't recall what size they were.

I didn't receive rivets with my door slides.... so you don't know the size? Were they less than an inch all of the rivets I have are an inch and they do not fit would appreciate your advice. Thank you.

I have the same issue and called husky. They pretty much gave me the run-around and then never sent the drawer slides. I ordered some universal drawer slides but those are going to be too complex to install. I'm going to give them a call again tomorrow

I went with the easiest solution, which was to use the stock slides, but I would certainly think one could install other slides if willing to customize mounting holes, etc.

@@HooptieDoodle I just traded my old service cart for the same box and had the same exact issue yours had, but I thought I would just remove 2 of the slides from one of the lower drawers making it 100lb vs 200lb and use it for small organizer boxes. This way I don't have to buy any replacements until I find out if soft xlosing ones would work.

The soft close will work but they hold half the weight of the stock ones

At 1:00 in this video it shows slides with part numbers. However, it depends on the age of your cabinet and these might not work for yours.

Apparently no one monitoring this site anymore. Lowes/Husky told me that the manufacturer for my particular tool chest didn't make the part anymore. They sent me a picture of a rail next to extended tape measure. Gee thanks right. It seems to be close to the standard 16" rail I found at Home Depot. I'm going to give it a try. But would be nice to know if self tapping or self drilling screws will work in lieu of rivets. I worry about the heads being in the way.

Good luck, I have the same tool box and the top drawer slide broke. Called HD and they are not shipping replacement parts due to COVID-19. Told me to call back in a couple weeks to see if they are shipping. Rep couldn’t give me the part number to search for them myself. Would be nice to have another source.

Why not just get better slides somewhere else? It almost seems like Husky purposely makes cheap slides to sell you expensive slides down the line

U should have drilled the hole thru the slide where the drawer hole was. There's 2 rivets for a reason

$45 bucks per slide is a rip off. I have 4 husky boxes and they are junk compared to US General. I wont be buying or fixing any husky junk.

You must not value your time much if you’re already in to the toolbox 100 bucks I bet it took at least an hour to go pick the box up about an hour to order the drawers slides about an hour in refurbishing it could have went and bought yourself a brand new one for all the time and effort and money put into the old one, i assuming your boyfriend won’t give you and allowance
