@@dominicharvey6048 Some dogs just know. Prior to my previous dog we inherited a Chocolate Lab/Shepherd mix who was just the sweetest thing. Incredibly intuitive dog. We hadn't had her for very long when my friend came to visit and she absolutely loved him to pieces. She was so excited she ran around looking for a toy, but she didn't have any upstairs at the time. Her toys were all kept in a bin in the den downstairs. I hadn't trained her, but she knew what "go downstairs" and "get toy" meant. I never put the two commands together. So I told my friend, "Let's watch and see what she does." "Godiva." *she looks at me and tilts her head* "Go downstairs, get a toy, and bring it back." *her head tilts from side to side as she listens to every word.* A few seconds later she goes downstairs, gets a toy, and then brings it to my friend. Huskies are also extremely intelligent dogs. My current one learned "go to your spot" in a day. She has a big plush pillow she loves, and I decided that this would be her "go lay down" spot. She never responded to GO lay down, she would just lay down at your feet. So I taught her that the pillow she loves is her spot. Once she learned what the word meant, she took to it right away.

My dog's favorite thing....is corn muffins. I had some corn muffins, and some sausage for myself and some bacon for my Dad. We had a bit left over and she had her choice of all three. She chose the corn muffins. Didn't even want the sausage or bacon. My previous dog's favorite thing...sauerkraut. That dog was so amazing, she'd eat just about any vegetable. She also loved kale, spinach, lima beans, Brussels sprouts, you name it. About the only things she wouldn't eat are things dogs aren't supposed to have anyway.
