This saw was given to me by a Marine Captain who moved from N. Carolina to Kalispell Montana 20 years ago. He said it was used for storm work from hurricane Hugo in 1989 but said he took it apart because it was leaking bar oil into the fuel but never got it back together. Thanks for getting this saw on the bench and I cannot wait to see this thing after being ported. I'd love to see the work that goes into it.

I think I took the muffler off to inspect the exhaust side of the cylinder to see if it was worthy of sending it to you. If I remember right, I didn't tighten it up since I knew you were going to pull it back apart. This saw was last run in early 90's.

I have a pristine 2101 XP..one of my last purchases when I was falling timber here in SW Oregon still have a couple 2100's too....In big wood awesome saws Love my big Huskies..Shoe

Love that bar on the 2101 if u ever get ahold of 1or more of them that still good what ever length please let me know. I love both saws buddy great saws!!!!!

You find out quick where the powerband is on those 2100’s😆. I gave up on the carb on mine and slapped a 395XP carb on her, soooooooo much better.

This is a 2101 so it don’t have a governed carb
