I lucked out on this one it is a very nice saw, I love auctions as well probably a little to much. Their my weakness that's why I now try to keep it down to one small purchase like this saw lol!

Nice saw! I've got a mint 257 and 254 but no 262 yet😂 I picked up a very cheap 242xp in just as gooder condition. It's KS cylinder and piston and they're as new. Was sold as spares but 2 pulls and it fired up, just put a kit in it also.

I now have the triplets of this family the 262XP was the long lost sibling, at some point I will probably add a 261 why well why not right; then I will have to round out the collection with a 242Xp and a 246... see where this is going lol! I already had a pretty nice 257 and an older 254 non XP but it's a little on the rough side. I will be going through the 254 here on the channel coming up at some point it needs a bunch of work but I'll bring it back to life so stay tuned.
