No need to explain yourself on your channel about your content. Viewers have no right to dictate what you put up or how much you put up here. I follow you and your family for what you do and how you do it. For the knowledge, the ideas and the inspiration. Not for the tools you use to get there. If I see something I don't like I skip over it or don't watch the video and wait for the next one. Keep up the good work.

Cody, I am a late subscriber to your channel. I found you while looking for the proper way to sharpen an axe my uncle gave me. In recent weeks I have been viewing your older videos and have gain a great deal on insight on how to do jobs around my house. Your channel has become somewhat of an addiction for me. I don't understand the reasons behind individuals complaining about your content. You have not posted anything yet I did not like and appreciate. What I dislike is that you constantly have to justify your content in some way. These individuals have no self esteem and very small minds. DON'T LISTEN TO THEM AND IGNORE THEIR COMMENTS. Keep doing what you do, tell your story and live your life the way you want to. God bless you and keep you and your family safe my friend.

I'm a fan of the changing themes in the videos because it never gets boring, huge respect for all you are doing. As for the dirtbike videos, i like them because i'm a mountain biker but i might consider trying out dirt biking in the future. By the way, how about you build some small ramps that you and Jack can jump over?

For a one man show. Hell even if you had ten other people working on these videos they are very well done. You have many gifts including the gift to talk, knowledge,and will to learn. Those on youtube strugle to keep their viewers as they burnout or lack talent and knowledge. Here is hoping you continue to enjoy producing excelent content, that the majority of viwers show support and that youtube reward you properly for the service you provide.

I enjoy your enthusiasm and have learned a lot from your channel. When you sometimes go off on a tangent about personal matters, I can still appreciate your enthusiasm (and might even learn something to boot) regardless of whether or not I agree with you. I certainly appreciate all the effort you put into making these videos and I hope you're making enough money to justify the work, or at least enough money to keep you happy. TL;DR Thanks. You're doing the right thing. Please don't stop.

I love hearing stories about your grandfather teaching or telling something about his life! The story about the mechanic that fixes the plane actually has two test fly at first. That’s actually an awesome way to see if people are actually doing what they paid to do or have a duty to do. 👍👍👍❣️

We'll follow you still and enjoy sharing those moments with you.

It's always enjoyable to watch wether it be informative, helpful shop tips, how to's or just you going out and having fun with jack or mrs Wranglerstar it's still fun to watch and always makes my day. So to those that complain about the videos that don't interest you just don't watch them wait for the next one to uploaded. But thank you Cody, Mrs. Wranglerstar and jack for all the amazing videos you put out for us to enjoy. Looking forward to seeing the next one!

With KZbin, as with most things in life, the hundreds of satisfied people don't always feel the need to announce their satisfaction. But the few haters feel compelled to announce their displeasure, and as humans we remember those negative people more vividly. As an east coast, apartment-dwelling city boy, with no shop, and JUST enough tools to hang pictures and change my own oil, I'm frankly not interested in dirtbikes, tractors, or really any product you review. BUT I watch your video for the gorgeous camera work, your ability to frame a shot, and edit together a visual story. That makes your channel better in my eyes than any big channel with some dude at his desk, or in front of a green screen. Your authenticity makes compelling stories, so I keep watching them.

Quick tip, if you peel a sticker off and it leaves the sticky mark, rub a little mayonnaise over it and leave it for 5 minutes or so. The oil in it breaks down the sticky stuff but it isn’t greasy enough to mark anything. Clean it off after 5 minutes and all the sticky stuff will be gone

Keep them coming (the videos). You got a new toy for this year, and of course your excited to "make it yours" so to speak. You are excited about it, and it shows in the videos. Hell, I am excited FOR you as well. That's part of why I watch. As a lawn care guy, I got excited when you got your new stihl saw. Just 2 examples of what I'm talking about. Make the videos you like, provide info, details and how to along the way, and I will continue to watch (just like I have done for years!)

Wranglerstar Cody. Working at the Home Depot in my younger years I felt with tons of those price stickers on the racking beam. Hands down the best product for removing sticker is PURE CITRUS ORANGE. It’s actually an air freshener but it claims to be pure orange citrus oil which does an excellent job of breaking down the adhesives!

I think the people who say they are tired of the so called product placement are jealous that they don't have companies sending out product for them to use and test. A lot of people don't understand how much work it takes to run a business and or a KZbin Channel that has the experience and reach to an audience that makes a partnership worthwhile for both involved. I know if I want companies to send me products to show and try, my channel has a long way to go before I have that reach for that to happen. It's going to take a lot of work. And even then it may not happen. It doesn't stop me from being passionate and share products that I enjoy using and might help someone else save time and money by using t hem. You are a true inspiration and thank you for the videos as always.
@MrPaddy1000111
@MrPaddy1000111 6 жыл бұрын
Totally agree. I don't think people realize that KZbin is a business for Cody, he makes money and people get the video's. I don't think there is "product placement" as he is usually pretty genuine if he likes something or not and he is showing the products he uses which saves everyone asking "What torque wrench is that? Is it good? Do you recommend anything better?" and so on.
@asedy335

I don't usually comment on videos unless I feel that my opinion has a meaningful outcome and I believe that me expressing my gratitude for your videos hopefully motivates you that bit more to continue producing them. You aspire and inspire me to work and become a better version of myself. I am a theoretical electrical engineer and programmer with not much hands-on experience, and your videos motivate me to try, experiment, and ultimately learn. Your brief demonstration on how a torque wrench works taught me exactly that: how it works. I had no clue. By watching your videos I learned how to: sharpen tools, put a handle on an axe, install a new exhaust on a dirtbike, use a torque wrench, etc... I don't have a dirtbike, a shop, a dozen axes, or semi-professional tools, your videos and their content still interest me. I live in a country where gun laws are strict, so I don't own any guns either, and yet, I find myself really enjoying you talking about them. I am by no means religious, but I love hearing you talk about yours. Please, don't let the vocal minority of complainers get to you too much. Your content is great and of outstanding quality! I too have yet to stumble across a video of yours that I disliked, and if I do, you won't see me complain. 1 bad video out of the thousands that you have is nothing. You can't please them all, sadly. I wish you, and your family, all the best, Cody. Keep it up!

I like the videos. Dirt bikes are just another facet to the list of reasons I myself have watched this channel for years. Dirt bikes may not be for everyone but people need to remember that this channel will still do the same other things as usual. Also people should realize that the planet and this channel don't continuously revolve around what makes them happy. It's a give and take just like any and everything in life. Anyway, I appreciate the content.

Thanks for all the videos. I don't know a thing about dirt bikes but I like watching you and Jack having fun. I have driven an ATV but I wasn't very brave about going fast and my cousins told me they saw a couple of snails pass me. LOL As far as the products, I think people that complain about stuff like that are just jealous because they imagine in their little minds that you're making millions. Personally, I like watching you work on things it reminds me of when I was little and my Grandpa would take me to help. I asked my Grandma once why Grandpa always took me to work on things instead of one of the boys and she said he told her that it was because I listened to him and he knew no matter how long he was under the car working on something he knew when he came out I would be sitting on his little work cart waiting to hand him a tool. Plus I've learned a lot from your videos, I've fixed several things that I would have been afraid to even try before. So thank you, you have saved me money.

Cody I think the people that makes the muffler that is being installed tells you how to repack so that you can take the packing out also. Just think about it. If it is too quiet on original install you can take it apart and unpack to suit your own desired loudness level. Cool feature but they don't want to tell you in those words. So, ride on Cody and make as much noise as you want to. Good informative video and keep up the good work. I really enjoy your work.

Your dirt bike videos are killing me. We’re a few months away from riding season and now all I can think about is bombing around on my WR. +1 for Ram Mounts. I use them everywhere.

Don't feed into those kind of comments. Your content is amazing! These days with KZbin going down hill, creators have to do what they have to do to keep going. Hopefully some day soon KZbin will have better competition and then some of my favorite channels can have a better platform where they don't have to sensor their videos. It makes me so mad when some really stellar channels can't make revenue off ads anymore because they might want to make a shooting video here and there. Anyways, keep up the good work and I'll definitely keep tuning in!! Cheers!

WoW, just got back from a 3 hour ride in tough tough conditions. I ran the tires at 7 PSI. The traction was so good It was like cheating,

I like all kinds of videos, the variety you have is great! I also enjoy your tool, tractor, and equipment, videos regardless of whether or not you get paid for advertising them. I cannot wait to see that knife sharpener! It is my favorite out of all of the tools you have shared with us and I want one so bad for myself I can hardly stand it. I keep saving up for one, but it seems like some emergency expense always crops up. Great video Mr. W, Thank You!

Cody, great video FYI if you slice your over flow tubes down the middle about 3/4 inch in length no mud will clog the end of the tube by your linkage, also you can drill 1 inch wholes in number plate to make your bike breath better , I have other tips if you are interested in making your bike bullet proof.

Wranglerstar I find for some reason that we all, myself included, find it difficult to deal with change. To that end we may look for the negatives in the good that happens to those we care about. Also, it's easy to suspect bad motives in those that we don't "really" know such as yourself. Keep up the good work. Tack

Great video and "non-rant". Who wouldn't jump at the chance of some company giving them equipment that they love to use and endorse it via their videos, even subtly. I understand completely. Some of us don't need an explanation. I've followed your channel since youtube featured an axe video way back before you'd made the 100k mark (and won't regret it), the first time I'd made an account to follow videos on youtube, rather than just watching randomly. I've always been a supporter of youtubers that post what is in their heart at the time they're making a video, rather than faking it to gain views. Good luck to you and family. It seems that at least some of us (you guys) are living our dream. Keyboard warriors today just love to hate. It didn't seem that way when I was first on the net back around '96. It's nice to be anonymous, but there still needs to be respect. Regards from Down-Under.

I had a 500 Husky back in the early 80's It was the most cantankerous bike I had ever owned. If you shut it off it would take forever to get it started. It came with a Bing carb. I finally found a Mikuni carb that fit and never had a starting problem after that. Oh it came with a spark arrestor. When I ran Motocross I got rid of that and put a Whispering Smith on.

Cody, you can also use a heat gun to gently warm the sticker, then if any sticky residue is left just use an isopropyl wipe to remove it. Glad you are starting to be a convert to the metric system.

The thing you were speaking about with your grandfather in the Army Air Corp still occurs in the Army Airborne with the Riggers. Riggers are the ones who pack parachutes and those parachutes aren’t marked with a clear distinguisher of the Rigger. At least once every month those Riggers will jump with one of their parachutes and they don’t get to choose which one. Such a system definitely works since jumping out of military aircraft with static line chutes is one of the safest things to do in the military. Significantly more accidental/negligent military deaths have occurred with mechanics working on equipment than during static line jumps. In fact, the only death that has occurred during Airborne training happened in early 2005(when I was there). And it was determined through video that it was her and not the chutes fault. She came out of the aircraft *COMPLETELY* wrong, cigarette rolled her chute, and failed(or couldn’t) pull the reserve. Poor young Soldier, Rest In Peace Paratrooper. Great story though, Cody, brought back some good and bad memories. Fortunately the story brought back *A LOT* more good memories and only a few bad.

Thank you Cody! I don't always agree with your point of view on things, but I do respect your thoughts on tools and processes for repair and am willing to listen with an open mind. I am trying to get into woodworking again after many years and would love to see a video on the fundamental woodworking hand tools needed to start woodworking. Maybe like a 3 price point list of the tools at least in name so we could check out other examples if the one that was shown is something we can spend a lil more money on or can't spend that much on, and where to get them. Thanks for all the hard work you put into the channel it shows! P.S. I really enjoyed that skiing video of you and Jack.

Say hey, Wranglerstar I might have a tip for you to remove the sticky left behind. I am in the window business and use goof off to remove the nasty glue off my tools. The main ingredient is toulene...works great. Don't forget to put on a nitrile glove. I use the Venon steel industrial gloves, available at most hardware stores. Thank you so much for you and the family do for us all. BEE WELL. regards, dog bugler, north Texas
