So the top pro enduro riders arent using the Rekluse Auto clutch and left hand brake because A- They dont need to B - thats catered to your leisure easy rider thats a little competitive C - A lot of their control comes from always using the clutch... hopping over logs, going up hills, rough terrain etc its more control D - The Midwest levers are good with Rekluse, not so much with stock clutch. Midwest is an easier pull but you also have to pull it further into the bars. With the stock clutch lever, cut down a little allows 2 finger pull but I only have to pull it in less than an inch from full out to completely disengage clutch. Couple tradeoffs. Now for my Dad that, your bike is an ideal setup for sure! Really like your vids

I love the dirt bike vids. I am not sure who the quote is originally attributed to but the story goes like this. A young dirt biker approaches the wily old local pro after a hard race. The young rider says " I am your biggest fan, and I am setting up my bike just like the pros, I have $500 bucks to spend on modifications - what do you think I should do to upgrade my bike?" The old vet looks at him for a few seconds and says- "Son - spend that $500 on gas and ride that bike just like it is."

We shall see how it works out..

@GladiusJon6 жыл бұрын
Right on, I ran them all of last year. Not sure how many miles or hrs it ended up being. The Traction from them Are Just out of this world!! On mine, The Inner Liner Stayed Intact through some 0 psi Rocks which was good. But I kept loosing pressure in the tire from bead sealing issues. I found the Inner liner rim lock had to be torqued just right. Any loosening or over tightening and It would deflate rapidly. The Main issue really was to no fault of the TUbliss system. My rims were not Trued on my previous bike. My way of thinking is The Bib might save me If im in the middle of a Hare Scramble and I bend a rim.

Just don't remove the rear foot brake! Your riding a 701, so your probably not gonna be on real gnarly single track, but keep this in mind, when you only have a left hand rear brake, you can't cover the clutch, and rear brake at the same time!
@Pyrrhic_au6 жыл бұрын
Hey Cody, it wasn’t the bark busters crushing onto your hand that is the issue; it is that your hand gets trapped when the bar gets forced towards you (and the other end away) or when you go over the bars forward. Either way nice set up I’m sure you’re going to enjoy.

Hi Cody, I am not into bikes and do not know much or even anything about them, But even I can see that the "out of the box" bike cannot work for everyone. As humans we come in a wide range of sizes and shapes so it is obvious that some alterations will need to be made before the bike is ready for use. I think that the people how tell you that you are wrong don't know what they are talking about because they only have their perspective of what needs to be done and this can vary so much, as I said I don't do bikes but I still enjoy info from people and can accept that I don't know everything. Keep on riding and be safe.

Love the foot pegs radiator guard fan ,hand guards n brake great mods, the only thing is I like to run the clutch n brake opposite but I don't have an auto clutch
@Trad-Am5 жыл бұрын
I really don't wanna see ya get hurt, not covering that clutch, and not having that rear foot brake. You can't cover the clutch, and the hand brake at the same time, and that's just asking for a whiskey throttle accident, especially being new. Keep your hand brake, put the foot brake back on, and put the stock clutch back in, or run the rekluse manual. That 300 will get better traction, and control with good clutch technique than that auto ever will. The rekluse on the big 4 stroke's, is kinda ok just because they stall so easy, but hate the heavy pull, feel, and control on my Husaberg Fe501 rekluse core exp 3.0. 2 strokes just don't need em, they almost never stall.
@cedricboivin94223 жыл бұрын

Not a lot of snow and a few days pretty cold but days of relative warmth and lots of rain too. Right now we are having a week of warm days cold nights. 2 inches of snow yesterday and then a few more inches tomorrow night. Here in Vancouver it will melt off pretty quick but farther east it will hang around a while longer.

When you said that you knew a man that know everything, I rolled my eyes thinking "Yeah right, everybody does" but after seeing the results I can say that he his a wise man. I would not want a rear hand brake probably for the same reason that the pro don't use them. Better clutch control. However, if you like it keep it. Really nice handguard setup, I have taught of doing it like this before but I never saw it. My only concern is that chain. I hope that you did make it tighter. I know the video is 3 years old but if somebody see this, relax with the wheelbase story and keep a good chain slack because that is way too much. On a bike with no chain guide, you won't do a mile before it jump off the sprocket.
